Pickleball
Pickleball was first invented in 1965 and has seen tremendous growth across North America and the world. Over 1.3 million Canadians play Pickleball regularly, making it the fastest-growing sport in the country today. It is a game for players of all ages, skill levels and abilities. There are five Pickleball courts located in Centennial Park in the town of Olds a short distance from the Horizon School. Our Pathway 1 students have had the privilege to ride quads or tandem bikes to the courts and take in the beautiful fall weather while learning to play Pickleball.
